Portobay Teatro Hotel

The hotel's location near Sao Bento station makes it easy to get around to all the key areas in the city. With the Metro, bus stops, and the main train station just a few hundred meters away, we didn't have to worry about transportation. Plus, most of the main attractions were within walking distance, saving us time and money.

The furniture in the room was outdated and could use some updating.

We stayed at this place and had an amazing experience. The staff here is super friendly and outgoing. Pedro, in particular, was kind and really made our stay all the more enjoyable. The food options and room service at this hotel are great, and the bed in our room was incredibly comfortable. The bedroom had a lot of space and everything was just very comfortable overall. It was perfect for our stay.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, being right in the centre of Porto. It is close to the train station and the Metro, making it easy to explore the city. The room was spacious and had plenty of storage, while the bathroom had nice amenities and a relaxing rain shower. The breakfast offered a variety of options to start the day off right.

The lighting in the room was quite dim, making it difficult to do tasks such as putting on makeup or packing for an early morning departure.

We had a fantastic stay at Portobay Teatro! Upon arrival, we were actually surprised with a room upgrade to a spacious suite. The suite had luxurious amenities such as Rituals soaps and a beautiful bathtub. To top it off, we were given a voucher for two free drinks at the bar, where we enjoyed the entertaining pianoman and the enthusiastic bartender. The location of the hotel was perfect, as we were able to walk to all the attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. we highly recommend this hotel for a nice and enjoyable experience.

The hotel was beautifully designed with a glamorous and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The location was perfect, close to the City Centre and train station, making it convenient for exploring the city. The room was fine and well equipped, with a comfortable and extra large bed. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was well presented, with unlimited great coffee.

One minor gripe was the lack of gluten-free options in the evening restaurant. Although everything else was fabulous, it would have been nice to have more dietary options.

I was initially worried about the darkness inside the hotel, but it turned out to be quite charming. The historical theater theme adds a unique touch to the ambiance. The staff was really good in handling a stressful situation when we needed to catch a train to the Algarve. They stayed calm and ensured we made it in time. I highly recommend this hotel for its historical significance and helpful staff.

We loved this place! The location was perfect, in the heart of everything. The room service was great, and we got a welcome drink upon arrival. The staff were all amazing and gave us exceptional customer service throughout our stay. The amenities were extensive, with in-room air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV. We also had an ironing board, electric kettle, and hairdryer in the room.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay.
